We're back from Ukraine! It was a long trip & we didn't really think we wanted to go, but God has us back in Washington working at the office again. It wasn't very enjoyable to leave, actually, but I know God has plans prepared for us here...

Teen camp was great! The teenage orphans have three weeks on the Black Sea. Our staff get to spend that whole time with them loving them with God's love and challenging them to go deeper in their walk with Christ. Each summer teens make life changing commitments. Every summer someone is baptised in the Black Sea! It's great.

This summer teens from our Transition program came early and set up camp. They worked very hard and did a great job with it all! Camp looked great! The first week of camp our staff were in charge and specifically pouring into the teens. Beginning the second week, our transition home teens were in charge of camp; the program, games, small group, etc... They were amazing! Each one has matured and grown so much in the past year. It was amazing to see them stepping up into leadership positions! God has been working in their lives.

My highlight was getting to spend time with a teen I met last summer named Julia. We were able to pray together nearly every day and read our Bibles together. Last year she accepted Christ and she has maintained an active relationship with Him, even alone in a government orphanage. She is absolutely amazing!

Here we are:

There's lots to do, but before I go, I'd like to thank you for every one of your prayers and all your support. Your prayers and gifts made the summer possible. Your encouragements kept me going. Without you backing me up, I'd be flat on my face! Thank you!
