It's been so long, I couldn't wait a day longer. I just had to let you know what God's been doing at OH! Each spring when school begins in Asia, the Christian orphanages begin praying for God's provision for sending their children to school. Many of the orphanages we work with work hard to simply provide meat once a week, let alone send the children to school! The twenty dollars needed for one child's school fees must seem an enormous amount to them.

This year the goal here at OH was to raise enough funds to send 500 orphans to grade school. As we began praying and telling others, God began blessing our efforts. If you doubt God's heart for orphans, you've obviously never watched Him provide for their needs! Once the goal was reached we were ecstatic. When it was exceeded, all we could do was praise God! So many people made such a great difference in the lives of Asian orphans through thier generous giving. Each gift was an answer to prayer, sending an orphan to school with pens, exercise books, an umbrella, a backpack, and a new school uniform!

When the final count came in, our staff were able to give 631 orphans the chance to learn in a school setting this year! The children were excited and grateful to receive God's provision through OH. These kids get to go to school and are eager to learn! Not every orphan gets to learn to read and write!
